Loadstone GPS Help - Explore Mode
The Symbian version of Loadstone GPS had a feature called 'Exploration Mode'. By popular request, this function was added to Loadstone GPS for IOS in Version 1.3.
Double tap the 'Actions' button in the Navigation tab and swipe right until you get to 'Explore'. Double tap to select it.
This will allow you to explore around your current location
When you start, Loadstone will tell you the nearest point to your current location and the direction of that point
On the Explore screen, there is a grid of nine buttons, three across, three down
Each button represents a compass direction
The centre button is 'Return to Starting Point'
Swipe right to move through the buttons
Double tap to select a direction
You will hear the nearest point in the selected direction
The information will be displayed below the Exploration grid
Swipe right to hear the point
Swipe up to see actions associated with this point, as follows:
- Check
- Lock
- Add to Route
- Show Neighbourhood
- Explore
- Share
- Delete
- Get Details
Below the point is its distance from your current location
Swipe right to hear how far the point is from your current location
