Loadstone GPS Terms of Use

Before using Loadstone GPS, the User must agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Should the User fail to agree to any of the following terms and conditions, they must uninstall the application immediately.

Loadstone GPS - General Information

Shawn Kirkpatrick is the producer of Loadstone GPS, herewith referred to as "the application."
The "User" is the person who downloads and installs the application to his or her device.
The User accepts that the application is provided 'as is' and that the Producer does not guarantee its quality, performance, compatibility, security and/or accuracy. The user uses the application at their own risk.
The user acknowledges that the data originating from external sources, and used by the application, may not be 100% accurate.
The user may use the application only for his or her private, non-commercial purposes and may not copy, reproduce, decompile, disassemble, etc. or distribute it in any way.
The user may use the application only in a way which does not cause the infringement of the provisions of law binding in Canada or in any country in which the user uses the application.
The application is intended to help blind or visually impaired pedestrians navigate and orient in their surroundings and is not meant for vehicle navigation.
The application may require an internet connection to access some features and any applicable charges are the user's responsibility.

Exclusion of liability

The developer of the application does not guarantee the availability of information from external sources.
The developer of the application is not responsible for the accuracy of data from external sources.
The developer of the application is not liable for suffered losses or lost profits resulting from the use of the application as well as of any third party arising from the mentioned limits, software or device errors, viruses, loss of data or improper use of the application itself.

Third party Products

The developer of the application is not responsible for the breach of terms of any third-party product or component used in conjunction with the application. In particular, Loadstone GPS is not responsible for the accuracy, compatibility or security of data from any third-party source. It is the responsibility of the user to read and accept the terms of third-party sources before using them in conjunction with Loadstone GPS.
If the user chooses to provide any personal information to a third-party source in order to use said third-party source in conjunction with Loadstone GPS, the user is responsible for the management of this personal information. Please read the third-party privacy policy carefully before providing any personal information.

Governing law

These terms and conditions are governed according to the laws of Canada and subject to the jurisdiction of Canadian court. The English language version of this document is the binding one.

Infringement of these Terms and Conditions

Should these Terms and Conditions be infringed, the license to use the application shall be withdrawn. The user must immediately uninstall the application from his or her devices. Further use of this application shall mean the infringement of law.
